Volunteer: GL Transitional Apartments Landscape Cleanup CrewThe GreenLeaf Transitional Apartments are in need of regular volunteers willing to assist with the following: Raking and bagging leaves, yard clean up Clean around the fence and remove any growth Trim all shrubs in the front, street sides of the apartments, use gas trimmer located in the on-site storage building Trim roses in front of the apartments, street side and both sides of the storage building (hand help trimmer is located in the on-site storage building) Stain/paint playground equipment and clean swings, etc. Spray weeds in the Prayer Garden and under porches, children's playground and in rose/azalea gardens Note: Bag of leaves, limbs and other trimmings are to be placed at the curb for pick up. Rose clippings can be place in wheel barrels and dumped at the curb.Occasionally there may be a need for work inside of the apartments. On rainy days, we may ask volunteers to assist with the following: Cleaning an apartment; a cleaning list and supplies are provided Painting or light maintenance work. Changing out light bulbs, etc.Time Requirement: Flexible hours, as needed every one to two months. When a need arises, cleaning crew volunteers will be contacted to assess availability.
Program: GreenLeaf Transitional Living The GreenLeaf Transitional Apartments are in need of regular volunteers willing to assist with the following: Raking and bagging leaves, yard clean up Clean around the fence and remove any growth Trim all shrubs in the front, street sides of the apartments, use gas trimmer located in the on-site storage building Trim roses in front of the apartments, street side and both sides of the storage building (hand help trimmer is located in the on-site storage building) Stain/paint playground equipment and clean swings, etc. Spray weeds in the Prayer Garden and under porches, children's playground and in rose/azalea gardens Note: Bag of leaves, limbs and other trimmings are to be placed at the curb for pick up. Rose clippings can be place in wheel barrels and dumped at the curb.Occasionally there may be a need for work inside of the apartments. On rainy days, we may ask volunteers to assist with the following: Cleaning an apartment; a cleaning list and supplies are provided Painting or light maintenance work.
